Big Falls

Big Falls

Some amazing shots from Big Falls in Mt. Charleston!
This was one of the coolest hikes I have ever done, as I was hiking up I realized I was on ICE yes around 6 feet of sold ICE yes this is only about an hour from Las Vegas where it was 105 today. The ice was covered in dirt, blown down trees, and pine needles, and to make things fun some spots would not take your weight. We found the falls and bellow it an ice cave which we thought was fine to walk on. After going underneath it and seeing how thin the ice was I regret walking on it. I also regret going under it as I stepped in what look like sold earth it was marshy and I was soon Knee deep in glacier water.
Probably not the smartest idea to walk through an ice cave with huge dead trees on it but.. it’s all about getting the best shot, I hope everyone enjoys.
